For the Volkskrant, I made a cover ilustration accompanying a piece focusing on two different interpretations of ‘Mother Courage and Her Children’. 
The play by Berthold Brecht tells the story of a mother trying to make a profit from the war by working as a trader, while also trying her best to survive and protect her three children.
