Femme ter Haar (1996) is a Dutch illustrator and artist working between Norway and the Netherlands. She works on a wide range of projects such as comics, picture books and editorial illustration. With her atmospheric and playful drawings, she captures big feelings as well as small moments. In 2021, she was one of the winners of the Fiep Westendorp Stimuleringsprijs.
Femme is currently working on her first graphic novel ‘De Lege Ruimte’: a story about loss, loneliness and what it means to be human. 


Past clients include:

the New York Times, de Volkskrant, Flow Magazine, de VPRO Gids, de Bijenkorf, Stroom Den Haag, het Oranje Fonds, Uitgeverij Lannoo and KRO-NCRV.
